#Kev’s Synopsis & Book Review: The Cull: Blood Box

cull

SYNOPSIS:

BOXSET edition of the first 3 books in ‘the CULL’ series.

Disgraced, ex-FBI Agent Amy Bree is partnered with ex-NSA super-spy, Katie Lindon, to track down and eliminate the bloody serial killer known as the Blood Sucker. They quickly find they are part of a much larger conspiracy originating in the Vatican. As they near their prey, the body count rises and the hunters become the hunted! That’s how this adrenaline-fueled tale starts. It will take the protagonists on a fast-paced race through three continents as they seek to unravel the mystery behind an ancient conspiracy. The journey will change both of them forever!

REVIEW:

I found this work very difficult to read. Character development relied too heavily on telling rather than showing. Lots of grammatical errors and far too many clichés.

Having said that, there are some good action scenes which for some will really pull it off. Sadly to say, for me it just wasn’t enough and therefore, even more sadly, I awarded only two stars.
